The Shippensburg University volleyball team received contributions from a wide array of players on Friday night to dispatch the Cheyney Wolves in straight sets, winning by scores of 25-11, 25-16 and 25-21 from Cope Hall.

Shippensburg (15-5, 8-0 PSAC) served 13 aces, including a match-high five from sophomore setter
Corynne Smith. Junior
Angela Tarabrella and freshman Megan McDonald each contributed multiple service aces as well.

Gianna Sigado led the Raiders with nine kills, swinging .368. Junior
Bridget Terrel had seven kills to just one error, hitting .462. McDonald had seven kills and five digs.

Katie Lemheney recorded eight kills on 16 swings, while sophomore
Grace Ramacciotti had three kills and hit .500.

Cheyney (0-15, 0-9) committed just 13 attack errors but only managed 16 kills in the match. Virshawna Campbell paced the Wolves with nine kills and nine digs.

Shippensburg returns to action at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at West Chester. The match will be held in Sturzebecker Health Science Center on the WCU campus.
