SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University tennis team hosted Goldey-Beacom in a non-conference match on a sunny Friday afternoon at Robb Sports Complex, dropping a 7-2 decision to the visiting Lightning.
Among those who performed well for the Raiders on the day was senior
Brittnee Buckley, who took two games at No. 1 singles, and freshman
Gabbie Binder, who played at No. 2 singles.
At No. 1 doubles, Buckley and junior
Emilie Luttman won one game.
Shippensburg returns to action in 11 days, as it begins its conference schedule at Kutztown with a 4 p.m. matchup on March 29.
