The Shippensburg University volleyball team swept East Stroudsburg on Saturday, claiming victory in a road Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) matchup by scores of 25-21, 25-22 and 25-14 from Koehler Fieldhouse.
 
Shippensburg (15-3, 4-2 PSAC) capped off an undefeated weekend behind a .232 team hitting percentage, overcoming a negative second set by hitting .321 in the opening frame and .484 (16 kills, one error) in the final set. The Raiders got 30 assists, five digs, three kills and two solo blocks from senior setter 
Maura Nolan, who continues to creep closer to SU's career assists record.
 
Senior 
Annie Goerl had a team-high nine kills on just two errors, hitting .318 while totaling seven digs. Goerl had 15 kills and 18 digs over the weekend, swinging .333 on 39 attempts.
 
Freshman 
Samantha Webber hit a team-high .357, ripping eight kills on 14 attempts. Fellow freshman 
Kendall Johnson had six kills, two block assists and hit .333, while freshman 
Gabriella Johnson had seven kills on 21 attempts.
 
Shippensburg will have its first mid-week match of the year on Tuesday, when the Raiders host Millersville at 7 p.m. from Heiges Field House.
