The Shippensburg University football team hits the road this Saturday for a 3 p.m. matchup against the Lock Haven Bald Eagles from Hubert Jack Stadium.

Shippensburg (2-3, 1-3 PSAC), picked No. 4 in the PSAC Eastern Division Preseason Coaches' Poll, went 7-4 last season. SU is looking to snap a three-game losing streak.

Lock Haven (0-5, 0-4), picked No. 6 in the PSAC Eastern Division Preseason Coaches' Poll, is looking for its first win of the year but has played several close games, including five-point losses to IUP and West Virginia State.

Shippensburg ended up on the wrong end of its home game that featured four lead changes in the fourth quarter, dropping a 37-33 decision to PSAC Eastern Division opponent East Stroudsburg from SU Student Association Field at Seth Grove Stadium. Shippensburg (2-3, 1-3 PSAC) and East Stroudsburg (4-1, 3-1) combined for nearly 1,200 yards of total offense and 59 first downs.

Lock Haven dropped a 41-16 decision at West Chester.  The Bald Eagles were unable to overcome an early 17-0 West Chester lead. Caleb Walton threw for 193 yards on 16-of-36 passing and one interception.  The dual-threat quarterback added 57 yards rushing. Beau Swales rushed for 68 yards on 22 carries to lead Lock Haven on the ground.
