The second set was tied at 19-19 until the Raiders reeled off four points in a row. Neither team led by more than three points in the set until SU built its 23-19 advantage. The teams traded points to close the frame, with both of Shippensburg's strikes coming off the attack of Edwards.
WCU was rallying in the third set before a service error returned the serve to the Raiders at 23-20. After a Golden Ram kill, SU closed out the second set with a kill from Pry and blocks by Woffindin and junior
Rachel Smicker. The Raiders had nine total blocks in the match – including five by junior
