INDIANA, Pa. – The Shippensburg women's swim team finished the last two sessions of the Crimson Hawk Dual Invite on Saturday with second-place finishes in a pair of relays along with three individual PSAC cuts in competition against rivals from IUP, Gannon and Bloomsburg.

Julie Brown posted a second-place time of 1:52.59 in its last official competition before the conference championships.

Anna Kinard and Capozzi closed out the competition with a fourth-place finish in the 400-yard freestyle relay.
Fisher posted two individual PSAC cuts; finishing third in the 100-yard butterfly (1:01.62) and fourth in the 200-yard freestyle (2:00.42). Johnson posted a new season-best in the 100-yard backstroke with a second-place finish in 1:01.58. Her PSAC cut ranks her among the top three finishers in the event this season for Shippensburg.
Shippensburg has concluded its regular season dual meet schedule and will next compete in the 2011 PSAC Swimming Championships. The annual four-day event will be held February 17-21 at Cumberland Valley High School in New Kingstown. Edinboro will serve as the host institution.
