2019 (R-Freshman): Played in all 33 matches during her debut season, making 27 starts as a defensive specialist…led the team and finished ninth in the PSAC with 44 service aces…ranked fifth on the team with 324 digs, averaging 2.66 digs per set…served at least one ace in 26 matches, including multiple aces in 12 matches…contributed a season-high five service aces against Walsh…totaled at least four digs in all 33 matches, including double-digit digs in 16 matches…achieved a season-high 18 digs against Shepherd…finished with 46 assists, including 14 assists in a stint as a setter against West Virginia Wesleyan…had seven kills.
 
2018 (Freshman): Redshirt season.

Courtland High School: Earned three varsity letters for the Cougars under head coach Bob Hott…played on the club level with Fredericksburg Juniors under coach Nicolette Bernardes…named to the All-District First Team, All-Region Second Team and All-Area Honorable Mention squads as a senior…selected to the All-Conference Team as a junior and received All-Region Honorable Mention…led her team with 400 assists and 85 service aces as a senior Team MVP while totaling 163 kills…paced the team with 677 assists and 67 service aces a junior…chosen to compete in the VHSCA East All-Star Game…also competed in soccer and basketball…graduated with a 4.1 GPA…received four academic letters for possessing a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

About McCormick: Full name is Syera Nicole McCormick...is the daughter of Anthony and AmyGrace Bowie...majoring in exercise science with an allied health pre-professional concentration while seeking a minor in psychology…has a brother, Antonio Juggins, and two sisters: Bailey Rae Bowie and Kelsey Grace Bowie.
