2017 (Junior): Named to the All-PSAC Second Team and the NCAA Atlantic Region All-Tournament Team after another dynamic season as an outside hitter…became the ninth player in school history to record 1,000 career kills…led the team in kills (386) and kills-per-set (3.27)…finished seventh in the conference in kills…emerged as a six-rotation player…ranked second on the team in digs (403) and digs-per-set (3.42)…played in 32-of-33 matches on the season, making 31 starts…recorded 16 double-doubles with kills and digs…notched double-digit kills in 25 matches, including nine matches with 15 or more kills…had at least three kills in all of her appearances…swung .200 or better in 13 matches, including a .450 efficiency (19-1-40) against West Liberty and a .452 efficiency (15-1-31) against Mercyhurst…produced a single-season best of 21 kills at Lock Haven and 30 digs against Gannon…tallied double-digit digs in 19 matches, including 20 or more digs in three matches…had at least five digs in all 33 of her appearances…contributed to at least one block in 24 matches, including a season-high three blocks on six occasions…paced the team with 19 kills and 18 digs in the team’s NCAA Tournament match against Gannon…served 26 aces, including a season-high three aces on three occasions…delivered at least one service ace in 15 matches…competed in track & field in the spring, earning All-America Second Team honors in the javelin with a 12th-place finish at the NCAA Outdoor Championships after finishing fourth in the event at the PSAC Championships.

2016 (Sophomore): Selected to the All-PSAC Third Team to conclude her second season as an outside hitter…appeared in all 34 of the team’s matches, making 25 starts…ranked second on the team in kills (310) and kills-per-set (2.58)…notched double-digit kills in 15 matches…achieved a single-match career high of 24 kills in a match at Clarion…tallied at least three kills in every match…swung .169 for the season, including a .429 efficiency (15-3-28) against Davis & Elkins…slotted sixth on the team with 182 digs…produced double-digit digs in four matches, including a single-match best of 22 digs against Shepherd…had at least one dig in 32-of-34 matches…finished fourth on the team with 47 blocks, including 40 block assists…contributed to at least one block in 27 matches, including a season-best three blocks on six occasions…served 11 aces, including at least one ace in seven matches…competed in track & field in the spring, earning All-America First Team honors in the javelin with a third-place finish at the NCAA Outdoor Championships after winning the PSAC Championship in the event three weeks prior.

2015 (Freshman): Led the team in kills (395) and ranked fourth in blocks (52) in a dominant debut season with the Raiders…matched the team lead by playing in 38-of-39 matches…named the 2015 PSAC Volleyball Championships Most Valuable Player (MVP) after compiling 38 kills, eight digs and hitting .315 over the team’s semifinals and finals victories…also named to the 2015 Atlantic Region All-Tournament Team for her performance in the first-round match against Gannon...recorded double-digit kills in 22 matches, including 16 times against conference opponents…averaged 2.86 kills per set and hit .193 for the season…was one of six players with triple-digit digs (125)…notched a career-high 21 kills in the team’s PSAC semifinal win over Edinboro, swinging .395; it was the only performance of the season in which a player had 20 or more kills…managed a career-high five block assists in the PSAC final over Clarion…achieved one double-double, a 17-kill and 11-dig effort against Wilmington (Del.)…swung a negative percentage in just one match while hitting above .300 in eight contests…contributed to at least one block in 28 matches, including multiple blocks in 15 contests…totaled four aces and eight assists...competed in track & field in the spring, setting the school record in the javelin as a freshman, placing second in the event at the PSAC Outdoor Championships and qualifying for the NCAA Outdoor Championships in her first season.

Hempfield Area High School: Was a four-year varsity letter-winner for the Spartans and head coach Lindsay Turchetta…played for club team Pittsburgh Elite…named to the 2014 Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association (PVCA) ‘AAA’ All-State Team as a senior…achieved multiple All-Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League (WPIAL) and All-Section honors…compiled career statistics that included 820 kills, 197 blocks, 133 aces and 583 digs…also competed in track & field, earning all-state honorable mention in the javelin as a junior with a third-place finish at the PIAA Championships…was a member of the National Honor Society and the Spanish Honors Society…graduated with honors.
About DeFloria: Full name is Morgan Lynn DeFloria…is the daughter of Joe and Tammy DeFloria…majoring in biology, concentrating in pre-optometry…has a brother, Joey, who was an All-Patriot League running back at Bucknell from 2014-17.
