2015 (Junior): Named to the All-PSAC Eastern Division First Team, American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Atlantic Region Team and Division II Conference Commissioners Association (CCA) All-Atlantic Region Second Team after a stupendous season as a setter for the Raiders…ranked third in the PSAC for total assists (1,284) and among the Top 25 in Division II…moved into the Top 3 all-time at SU for the category…provided 20 or more assists in 33 of the 37 matches in which she played, including 40 or more assists in 12 contests…averaged 9.4 assists per set…matched her career high with 58 assists in a five-setter against Fairmont State and had 52 assists in the PSAC Semifinals victory over Edinboro…also had 38 assists in a three-set win over East Stroudsburg…chipped in with 77 blocks (71 block assists), the third-most among Raiders…tied a career high with six block assists in the PSAC Championships match against Clarion…tallied multiple blocks in 26 contests…ranked fourth on the team with a career-high 403 digs, averaging nearly three per set…contributed multiple digs in all 37 matches, including double-digit digs in 21 contests…equaled her single-game career high for digs with 21 against Slippery Rock…pitched in with 30+ assists, double-digit digs and multiple blocks in six of the final seven matches of the season…served up a career-high 30 aces on the season, including at least one ace in 18 contests…delivered three aces in three different matches…knocked 78 kills and hit .146 from the floor…posted a negative hitting percentage just four times…had at least one kill in 32 contests…recorded a season-high five kills on three occasions...twice rewarded as the PSAC East Athlete of the Week, on October 20 (9.7 assists per set and .220 hitting in 3-1 crossover weekend) and November 16 (82 assists in a 2-0 weekend).

2014 (Sophomore): Repeated as an All-PSAC Eastern Division Second Team pick in another splendid season...totaled 1,219 assists, which ranked third in the PSAC and 30th in Division II, as she averaged more than nine assists per set…played in all but one match and missed only five sets during the season…improved her offense to a career-best 106 kills and nearly doubled her hitting efficiency, swinging .239 on the year over 318 attempts…rewarded with her first PSAC Eastern Division Athlete of the Week award (183 assists, 15 kills, four games of double-digit digs) in the regular season’s final week...had four matches with at least 50 assists, including a career-high 58 assists versus Winston-Salem State…provided 40 or more assists in 10 matches and contributed to at least one block in all but two matches…contributed at least 20 assists in 31-of-35 matches…slammed a career-high seven kills against both IUP and West Chester and had six kills in four other matches…among her many high-efficiency outings included a .429 effort (6-0-14) against Chowan…provided 340 digs that were fourth on the team, as she averaged 2.6 digs per set…tallied double-digit digs in 15 matches, with a career high of 21 digs being recorded against Point Park…had a hand in 71 blocks (seven solo), ranking third on the team…amassed at least one block in 33-of-35 matches, including a five-block match against Glenville State…served 26 aces to rank fourth on the squad, and she provided multiple aces in seven matches.

2013 (Freshman): Earned American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-Region honorable mention and All-PSAC Eastern Division Second Team honors as a freshman after a dynamic first season as a setter…totaled 1,326 assists, second-most in SU single-season history, and finished third in the PSAC for the category…immediately filled the role of SU’s primary setter, appearing in all 39 matches and playing in 138 sets...provided at least 20 assists in every match with the exception of a short appearance in a match against Cheyney – including 40 or more assists in 10 matches…exceeded 50 assists on four occasions, including a career high of 53 assists versus Edinboro…had 52 assists versus Lenoir-Rhyne and 50 assists against Mercyhurst and UPJ…functioned as one of SU’s leading blockers, recording an impressive 84 blocks (including 79 block assists)…tallied multiple block assists in 24 contests, including five in conference matches against IUP and West Chester…produced a single-match best of six block assists came against Glenville State…provided 257 digs, including five or more in 25 contests...recorded double-digit digs in six matches, including a career high of 14 against Charleston…snuck in 65 kills on offense…registered a season high of four kills in matches against Stonehill and Charleston…served 27 aces, including three each against ESU and Chowan.

North Allegheny High School: Compiled eight varsity letters between volleyball and track & field with the Tigers, coached in volleyball by Heidi Miller…played club volleyball with Pittsburgh Elite under head coach Dale Start…selected to the PVCA All-State team as a senior…earned All-Conference accolades in her final two seasons…team finished third in the state in 2012 – a season in which Nolan was a senior captain…earned a Scholar Athlete award each year in high school.
Personal: Full name is Maura Theresa Nolan…is the daughter of John and Kim Nolan…majoring in biology with a concentration in pre-optometry…has five siblings: John, who swam at Xavier; Maria, who played volleyball at Villanova; Anna, who swam at St. Mary’s of Notre Dame, Luke, a high school soccer player, and James, a high school swimmer.
