2018 (Freshman): Appeared in 30-of-33 matches playing for Mary Washington…functioned as a capable middle blocker for the Eagles…played in 101 sets…ranked sixth on the team with 113 kills, an average of 1.12 kills per set…finished third on her team among qualified players with a .223 hitting percentage…slammed double-digit kills in a pair of matches, including a single-match best 17 kills in a five-set victory over Muhlenberg…achieved a hitting percentage of .400 or better in seven matches, including a .538 rate (8-1-13) against Frostburg and a .455 rate (13-3-22) versus Mount Union…ranked fourth on the team in blocks (39)…posted multiple blocks in 12 matches, including a single-match best five blocks against Mount Union…registered 74 digs, including a single-match best eight digs against both Christopher Newport and Penn State Harrisburg…totaled five assists and three service aces.

About Gearhart: Full name is Keri Lauren Gearhart…is the daughter of Ricky and Deanne Gearhart…majoring in business administration…has two sisters: Kelsey Elbel and Nakita Gearhart…sister Nakita was an assistant coach for the Raiders in the 2017 season and was a three-time American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-American, three-time Landmark Conference Most Valuable Player (MVP), four-time AVCA All-Region performer and four-time Landmark Conference First Team All Star at Juniata…family members Dean Gearhart (’58), Darren Negley (’07) and Michelle Wenger (’15) are SU graduates.
