Courtney Mallott is in her second season as a volunteer assistant for the Shippensburg University women's volleyball coaching staff in 2023.
Mallott helped guide her alma mater to a 10-4 conference record and the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Division during her inaugural season on the Ship bench.
Malott was a versatile outside hitter and right side for the Raiders from 2014-18 who finished her career ranked 11th in school history with 1,294 career digs. She played in 138 career matches, totaling 469 kills, 134 service aces and 110 blocks.
As a senior in 2018, Malott was a part of a team that posted a school-record winning streak of 15 matches and made a fourth consecutive trip to the NCAA Tournament. Malott contributed to Raider teams from 2015-18 that compiled a 102-37 career record – the most successful four-year stretch in team history.
A native of Williamsport, Md., Malott graduated from Shippensburg in December 2018 with a bachelor of science in geoenvironmental studies, a minor in geographic information science, and a geographic information systems certificate.
