Biography

2006 (as a freshman): Became the first Shippensburg freshman since Lisa Garey in 1994 and just the second ever to be named PSAC Eastern Division
Rookie of the Year…was one of just three freshman in the PSAC to earn All-PSAC Eastern Division Second Team honors…is the first Lady Raider freshman to gain postseason mention since Missy Pierce in 2003…also earned PSAC Eastern Division Player of the Week honors on Oct. 3 for totaling 40 kills, 14 block assists and three block solos with a .400 hitting percentage in four matches…at the time, she was the first freshman in the PSAC to be named the player of the week…finished the season ranked 10th in the PSAC in hitting percentage (.301)…was the only Lady Raider to play in all 37 of the team’s matches…ranked third on the team with 262 kills with an average of 2.34 kills per game…led the team in block assists with 60, which is the third highest single-season total in school history and the most since Aimee Strine set the school record with 88 in 1988…also ranked first on the team in block solos with 31…averaged 0.81 blocks per game…added 41 digs and 25 service aces on the season… in her first career match on Aug. 25, she posted six block solos and two block assists to go with five kills…registered six block solos against C.W. Post on Sept. 8 and six block assists against Virginia Union on Sept. 29…tallied double-digit kills 10 of the last 20 matches of the season…accounted for 16 kills on 25 attempts against Ohio Valley on Sept. 29…posted a career-high three service aces against Dowling on Sept. 9…notched a career-high 17 kills on 30 swings against Edinboro on Oct. 13.

At Broadfording Christian Academy High School: Was a four-year letter winner…was named Second Team All-Mason Dixon Christian Conference following sophomore season…named first team all-conference
after junior and senior seasons…voted team MVP as a sophomore and was team’s offensive player of the year as a junior…earned all-county mention for three-straight seasons…led team to tournament championship during senior season…named Co-MVP of the Mason Dixon Christian Conference Tournament
in 2005…class salutatorian…won High Academic Achievement Award for three years and U.S. Army Scholar Athlete Award in 2006.
