Biography
West Chester East High School: Shortridge was a three-year letterwinner as a libero and defensive specialist under head coach Jim Virgilio. As a senior, she was a team captain, an All-Chesmont Conference First Team selection and an All-Area honorable mention award winner. In her junior year, Shortridge earned All-Chesmont Honorable Mention accolades. Scholastically, Shortridge was a member of the National Art Honor Society. She also competed for the Liberty Belle Volleyball Club under head coach Jen Constantino.
Personal: Amanda Anne Shortridge is the daughter of Jim and Ellen Shortridge. Her intended major is fine arts. She has a sister, Carly, who plays volleyball.
