2008-09 (Junior): Continued to show marked improvement in his primary events by eliminating multiple seconds off his previous career-best times during his third season with the Red Raiders…placed three times at the conference championships, including the team’s strongest time in the 500-yard freestyle…finished fourth in the 1,650-yard freestyle (16:13.09) and sixth in both the 500 (4:40.89) and the 1,000-yard freestyle (9:41.65)…posted the team’s second-fastest times for the season in all three of the distance freestyle events, improving his effort by three seconds in the 500, nine seconds in the 1,000 and almost 15 seconds in the 1,650…also compiled the team’s fourth-fastest time in the 400-yard IM with a time of 4:22.43 at the Zippy Invitational.

2007-08 (Sophomore): Removed four seconds off his 500-yard freestyle time to 4:44.39…also knocked six seconds off his time in the 1650-yard freestyle to 16:26.48…held second-best team time in the 500-yard freestyle with a finish of 4:44.39 at the Patriot Invitational…recorded third-best team time in the 400-yard IM with a time of 4:30.19 at Zippy Invitational…also recorded second-best team time in the 1000-yard freestyle at Clarion in 10:10.74 and the 1.650-yard freestyle at the Patriot Invitational…also competed in backstroke events…recorded third-best team time in the 100-yard backstroke with a finish in 57.43 seconds at the Patriot Invitational…completed fourth-best team performance in the 200-yard backstroke after a time of 2:05.51 at the Zippy Invitational.

2006-07 (Freshman): Emerged as a valuable distance freestyle swimmer for Shippensburg, posting strong times in the 500, 1000 and 1650 freestyle events…recorded a seventh-place finish in both the 1000 and 1650 freestyle at the PSAC Championships …finished in 10th place in the 500 freestyle at the conference championships.

Personal: Full name is Andrew Harry Hagerich…born Feb. 8, 1988…is the son of Don and Pam Hagerich…majoring in history with a social studies certificate.
