2007-08 (as a freshman): Proved dominant in the fly with the fastest team time in the 500 fly… posted the second-fastest time in the 100-yard butterfly… swam the third-fastest time in the 200 butterfly… also solidified himself as a strong competitor with a solid 500 freestyle… recorded a strong personal best in the 200 freestyle.
