2014-15 (Junior): Maintained his status as SU’s lead swimmer in the individual medley while also specializing in the breaststroke during his third season with the team…swam season bests in three of his four primary events at the conference championships, placing 15th in the 400-yard IM and contributing to both scoring medley relays…competed individually in the 100-yard breaststroke, 200-yard breaststroke and the 200-yard IM at the conference championships…achieved his top season time in the 200-yard breaststroke at the Patriot Invitational…named the PSAC Swimmer of the Week on January 27 after a strong performance in a dual meet at Davis & Elkins.
2013-14 (Sophomore): Won two consolation (‘B’ group) finals at the PSAC Championships and contributed to six scoring performances while etching his name into the SU record books during his second season…placed ninth in the 200-yard breaststroke and 400-yard IM at the PSAC Championships with times that rank fourth and fifth-best in school history, respectively…repeated with a 14th-place finish in the 200 IM at the conference championships…contributed to three scoring relays: 800 freestyle, 200 medley and 400 medley…served as the team’s pacesetter in the 200 freestyle in addition to all of the breaststroke and individual medley swims…set new personal bests in all four of his major events at the conference championships.
2012-13 (Freshman): Made an immediate impact with the Raiders as a scorer at the conference championships in his debut season…posted an impressive fifth-place finish in the 400 IM after reaching the PSAC finals…achieved place-winning performances in the 200 breaststroke, 200 IM and with the 800-yard freestyle relay…ranked second on the squad in all three of his PSAC individual place-winning events…notched a personal best in the 100 breaststroke at the Patriot Invitational.
Dallastown High School: Competed primarily in the breaststroke and the individual medley for the Wildcats under head coach Richard Howley…earned one varsity letter…named a York County All Star...competed for Coach Howley with North Baltimore Aquatic Club.
About Dunnigan: Full name is Jake Stuart Dunnigan…is the son of Stuart and Jennie Dunnigan…majoring in history while seeking a minor in economics…has two brothers who each swim: Patrick and Joel.
