The Shippensburg University men's soccer team fell to East Stroudsburg in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division match on a wet and windy Saturday at Eiler-Martin Stadium, 6-1.
Shippensburg (2-3-3, 1-3-0 PSAC East) battled East Stroudsburg (6-3-2, 3-0-1) through a scoreless first thirty minutes before the Warriors erupted for six goals for the duration of the contest.
Kyle Ganley found the back of the net for the Raiders in the second half. Following a SU throw-in, midfielder
Zac Slevin used a deft first touch to slip past his defender before squaring the ball to Ganley awaiting at the far post.
ESU's goals came courtesy of six different players: Ryan Kiernan, Bat-Od Buman-Uchral, Jace Seara, Steven Arias, Jake van Lierop and Parker Mork.
The Raiders return to action Wednesday when they host Millersville at 7 p.m.
