UPDATE: The 2026 Tony Banner Memorial Classic All-Tournament Team was announced Saturday night:
Shay Kolivoski was named the Libero of the Tournament, and
Shea Stevens was named to the All-Tournament Team!
The Shippensburg University volleyball team closed out the Tony Banner Memorial Classic with a 3-1 record, wrapping up the weekend with a 3-0 sweep over Franklin Pierce Saturday morning.
Set scores were 25-19, 25-12, and 25-20.
Shippensburg (3-1) defeated the Ravens (0-3) with continued attacking efficiency. The Raiders put up 39 kills, hitting .231 as a team.
SU averaged four kills per set; senior
Natalya Montague led the team with nine kills and no errors. Sophomore
Mya Davis hit .462 in the match, tallying a career-high seven kills with only one error. Junior setter
Jaiden Anderson totaled 17 assists.
Redshirt-sophomore
Riley Blank added six kills on the day. Sophomore
Elise Bragg continued her weekend success, finishing the day with six kills.
Freshman
Molly Seifert had a standout day from the service line, totaling a career-high four service aces. Senior
Hailey Cappleman matched Seifert with four aces of her own. This is the third time already this season Cappleman has reached four or more aces in a single match.
Senior
Shay Kolivoski led the team with 22 digs.
Shippensburg will return to action next weekend when it travels to Frostburg State for a weekend tournament.
