The Shippensburg University men's soccer team was voted sixth in the 2026 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division Preseason Coaches' Poll released Tuesday afternoon by the conference office.
The preseason coaches' poll is selected by the league's coaches. The conference does not allow coaches to vote for their own team in the preseason polls.
Millersville, the Eastern Division regular season champions a season ago, received four of the six first-place votes and come in at number one in this year's poll. West Chester was tabbed second in the East and received the two remaining first-place votes from the Eastern Division coaches. Bloomsburg was voted third.
Shippensburg began preseason training on Monday and will kick off its 2026 season at 4 p.m. on Saturday, August 29 against California (Pa.) at David See Field.
Note: Every PSAC Eastern Division school will face Lackawanna twice this season as a part of its league schedule. The Falcons received an invitation to join the PSAC last year, contingent upon successfully completing the process of becoming an NCAA Division II member school. These matches will not count toward a team's overall NCAA record. More information on this process is available HERE.
