SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – Shippensburg University was named the recipient of the 2026 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Men's Indoor Track & Field Coaching Staff of the Year award on Wednesday afternoon.
Voting is conducted by the league's head coaches.
The Shippensburg University staff is led by head coach
Dave Osanitsch. He is assisted by

Doug Knol (sprints/hurdles),
Sarah Hewitt (jumps),
Kyle Grove (jumps),
Alison Freas (throws),
Tyler Hewitt (throws) and John Pacovsky (throws).
Shippensburg won its 15th straight Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) indoor title in 2026, scoring in 16-of-17 events to win the league championship meet by a 79-point margin. Of SU's 32 individual scoring performances, 13 were All-PSAC (Top 3) finishes. The Raiders won six individual events and the distance medley relay.
The Raiders also finished the season as the No. 1-ranked team in the Atlantic Region per the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA)'s Track & Field Ratings Index (TFRI). Osanitsch was named the 2026 USTFCCCA Atlantic Region Men's Indoor Head Coach of the Year on March 23.
SU has now won 18 of the 24 PSAC Men's Indoor Track & Field Championships in history, including 15 consecutive conference titles dating back through 2011.
