#NSD26: Football begins announcement of 2026 recruiting class

Incoming players have committed to play football at Shippensburg

SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University football team is announcing new recruits on National Signing Day (#NSD26).
 
These players have signed either institutional athletic aid agreements or completed the necessary Shippensburg University paperwork to play football for the Raiders under head coach Drew Gallardy '10.
 
National Signing Day (#NSD26), annually the first Wednesday every February, is the first day that NCAA Division II schools can officially ink high-school seniors.
 
A list will be posted below; it also includes players who enrolled at Shippensburg for the current semester and are already on the team in advance of spring ball.
 
This page will be updated throughout the day Wednesday; additional recruits will be added in the coming days as well.

COACH BURKET ON BIDDLE: Andrew is an athletic two-sport athlete from Easton who also plays lacrosse. He has exhibited an incredible football sense from the secondary.

COACH BURKET ON COMSTOCK: Brenden hustles like crazy. He is another two-sport athlete who we recruited, as he also wrestles. We are anxious to get him here on campus and see what he can do.

COACH LONG ON CROMARTIE: Chris plays big out of the backfield – he is packed with explosiveness and speed. He's physical, tough, and capable of being a true "three-down" back. A York-Adams kid who gets to stay in his backyard.

COACH LONG ON FERREIRA: Kyler is a coach's kid, a three-year starter, and a proven winner who knows how to get it done. There's not a throw that Kyler can't make. We love his ability to move and be athletic as well.
