Steelton-Highspire High School: One of the most decorated quarterbacks to come out of Central Pennsylvania in recent memory...under the direction of his father, head coach Andrew Erby, lead Steel High to three Class A state titles (2023, 2022, 2020)...named to the 2023 MaxPreps Preseason Small Town All-American team...a two-time Pa. Football Writers 1A Player of the Year honoree...named the 2023 Mr. PA Football Small School (Class 1A-3A) Player of the Year...a four-time All-State selection...closed out his career as Pennsylvania's all-time leader in passing yardage (13,562), career touchdown passes (176) and single-season touchdown passes (61).
About Erby: Full name is Alex Erby...is the son of Andrew Erby and Cherelle Renee Peterson...twin brother, Andrew Jr., played football at Ohio University.
