SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University men's cross country team was recognized Thursday with a United States Track & Field and Cross Country Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team award for 2025 and four of its runners from the regional championships received a USTFCCA All-Academic Athlete Classification.
The SU men's squad earned its USTFCCCA All-Academic Team classification for possessing a cumulative team grade-point average (GPA) of 3.53 and scoring at the NCAA Atlantic Region Championships.
Four Raiders were classified as an All-Academic athlete: redshirt-sophomore
Tommy Crum Jr., freshman
Ben Hummel, senior
Garrett Quinan and senior
Ryan Wolfe.
Each Raider possesses a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 and finished among the Top 30 percent of eligible runners at the Atlantic Region Championships.
Quinan and Wolfe complete their cross country careers as four-time All-Academic award winners. It is the second straight year that Crum has been recognized.
