SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – Shippensburg University senior Garrett Quinan was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week on Tuesday afternoon by the league office.
 
Competing in sunny and muggy conditions at Haverford's Main Line Invitational, Quinan and the Raiders ran an unconventional distance – Haverford's course spanned four miles, which equates to a little bit more than 6,000 meters.
 
Quinan was the top D-II finisher at the meet; he broke the 20-minute mark with an excellent performance, finishing sixth overall with a time of 19:44.5.
 
The award marks the fourth conference weekly honor of Quinan's career. He was previously named PSAC Cross Country Athlete of the Week on Oct. 8, 2024; Oct. 3, 2023 and Sept. 26, 2023.
