Geoff Bloes ’07 named to PennLive’s best Mid-Penn boy's soccer players of the century

Shippensburg University Athletics Hall of Famer Geoff Bloes '07 was recently named one of the top 25 Mid-Penn boy's soccer players of the century by PennLive.
 
Bloes is the all-time leading scorer in SU men's soccer history. After 77 career games, Bloes finished his tenure having set new school records for career goals (51) and career points (130). He also finished second in school history with 28 career assists and totaled 10 game-winning goals.
 
He is the only player in school history named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Men's Soccer Player of the Year, a feat he accomplished twice (as a junior in 2006 and as a senior in 2007).
 
At Middletown Area High School, Bloes was an All-State player with the Blue Raiders who set school records of 41 career goals and 95 career points. After Shippensburg, he played four seasons professionally with the Harrisburg City Islanders of the United Soccer League (USL).
