The Shippensburg University volleyball team was voted third in the 2025 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division Preseason Coaches' Poll released Thursday afternoon by the conference office.
The preseason coaches' poll is selected by the league's coaches and was announced through the league's social media channels. The conference does not allow coaches to vote for their own team in the preseason polls.
Shepherd, last year's division champions, received four of the eight first-place votes and is atop the poll. East Stroudsburg and Shippensburg both received two first-place votes; the Warriors are in the No. 2 spot. ESU defeated the Raiders in last year's conference quarterfinals.
Shippensburg went 17-13 last season, including a 11-3 mark in conference play that resulted in the division's No. 2 seed.
The Raiders begin the 2025 season on Thursday, Sept. 4 at 7:30 p.m. at Clarion. SU opens its home schedule on Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 7 p.m. against Chestnut Hill.
