SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – Five members of the Shippensburg University women's lacrosse team were named Wednesday to the 2025 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Academic Honor Roll.
This year's student-athletes to be named to the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll include four seniors:
Alyssa Krueger,
Francesca Picone,
Kayla Vosburg and
Sara Vosburg, and one junior:
Ali Pioli.
Krueger graduated cum laude in May with a degree in criminal justice and a 3.526 cumulative GPA.
Picone graduated magna cum laude in May with a degree in early childhood education and a 3.658 cumulative GPA.
Pioli is entering her senior year in 2025-26; she is a biology (pre-dentistry) major and a Spanish minor with a 3.771 cumulative GPA.
Kayla Vosburg, a member of the Wood Honors College, graduated summa cum laude in May with a degree in civil engineering and a 3.918 cumulative GPA.
Sara Vosburg, a member of the Wood Honors College, graduated summa cum laude in May with a degree in criminal justice, minors in Spanish and psychology, and a 3.992 cumulative GPA.
The IWLCA honored a total of 588 student-athletes from 84 different institutions on the 2025 IWLCA Division II Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.
Shippensburg was also recognized as a 2025 IWLCA Academic Squad for maintaining a 3.437 team GPA for the 2024-25 academic year.
