The Shippensburg University lacrosse team went toe-to-toe with No. 13-ranked East Stroudsburg before falling late during a back-and-forth Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division battle at Whitenight Field, 16-14.

Sara Vosburg became the fifth player in school history to achieve 200 career points, netting two goals and two assists in a contest that featured seven ties and eight lead changes.
Sophomore

Maddie Phommachanh tallied four goals apiece.
The Raiders, coming off Saturday's overtime victory over nationally-ranked Kutztown, got off to a strong start against the host Warriors (12-4, 9-2), opening the contest with goals from Phommachanh and junior
Shannon Wood to lead 2-0.
SU remained in front at the end of the first quarter, 4-3, and did not trail until the 3:55 mark of the second frame.
Hauck halted a 4-0 ESU run with a goal inside the final minute of the first half to cut the Raider deficit to one, and Vosburg scored less than a minute into the second half to tie it, 8-8.
Goals from Hauck and Wood to end the third quarter and start the fourth gave SU a 12-10 advantage, but two quick ESU goals in a 36-second span gave the Warriors the lead back with 9:06 remaining.
The Raiders had one last golden chance to tie the score with a free position shot from Vosburg with 1:15 left in regulation, but her shot rattled off the post.
The outstanding Raider effort showed in a 25-to-24 advantage in shots on goal. All 14 of SU's shots in the first half were on target. Shippensburg committed fewer turnovers than East Stroudsburg (16-to-17) and had a 20-to-13 advantage in groundballs.
Hauck led the team with six draw controls in addition to her four goals.
Junior
Ali Pioli registered two goals, two assists, five draw controls and tied for the team lead with four groundballs. Wood also finished with two goals.
Senior
Annie Rathgeb tied Pioli with four groundballs and led SU with three caused turnovers.
Senior
Kayla Vosburg finished with eight saves in the Raider net, turning aside a pair of free position shot attempts.
Sadie Kauffman scored four goals and added an assist for East Stroudsburg.
Shippensburg concludes its season when it hosts Millersville for Senior Day Saturday at 12 p.m. at Robb Sports Complex.
