The Shippensburg University softball team lost a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division doubleheader at Bloomsburg, losing Game 1 13-2 in five innings, and Game 2, 16-2 in five innings, Saturday afternoon at Jan M. Hutchinson Field.
Shippensburg (12-10, 1-5 PSAC East) only mustered ten total hits on the day. The Huskies (12-6, 2-2 PSAC East) lit up the box score, getting 29 runs on 29 hits throughout both games.
Sophomore
Sarah Sabocsik had the most hits on the day for the Raiders, going 3-for-5 at the plate. Sabocsik also contributed two RBIs.
Sophomore
Emily Lafferty added two hits and a stolen base to her season totals. Lafferty also scored the most runs for Shippensburg, netting three of the four Raider runs.
Junior
Caitlyn Martell had two hits and scored a run.
The Raiders return home to face Millersville in a doubleheader Tuesday at 1 p.m.
