The Shippensburg University women's tennis team dropped a nonconference road match to the Salem University Tigers Friday afternoon in West Virginia, 7-0.

Jade Miller went the distance against Salem's Aishwarya Prasa Kailaje at No. 3 singles. Miller defeated Prasa Kailaje in the first set, 6-4, before dropping the next set 6-1 and the tiebreaker 10-5.

Brooklynn Rupert won three games at No. 5 singles, and sophomore
Brinley Orris won a pair of games at No. 6 singles.
