SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University volleyball team had four of its players named Tuesday to the 2025 Division II Academic All-District ® Team.
Isabelle Bombas,
Kearstin Davis,
Shay Kolivoski and
Gracen Nutt were selected for the award that recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performance on the field and in the classroom.
Bombas is an academic senior who is majoring in Psychology while seeking minors in coaching and sports psychology. The Hatboro native played in all 29 matches for the Raiders and maintains a 3.60 cumulative grade-point average (GPA).
Davis is an academic senior who is majoring in Political Science while seeking minors in economics and sociology. The San Antonino, Tex., native played in all 29 matches (27 starts) for the Raiders and maintains a 3.91 cumulative GPA.
Kolivoski is an academic junior who is majoring in Mechanical Engineering while seeking a minor in business. The Dillsburg native played in all 29 matches (28 starts) as the Raiders libero and maintains a 3.896 GPA.
Nutt is an academic junior who is majoring in Chemistry with a Medical Sciences concentration while seeking minors in biology and public health. The Mechanicsburg native played in 27 matches as an outside hitter and maintains a 3.965 GPA.
Davis is now a three-time honoree, while Bombas and Kolivoski are two-time honorees. Nutt is a first-time honoree.
The Academic All-District ® Team is coordinated by the College Sports Communicators (CSC).
In the sport of volleyball, eligible nominees must compete in 90 percent of the institution's matches or have started in at least 66 percent of the institution's matches.
