The Shippensburg University women's soccer team was tripped up in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division match at Millersville Wednesday night, 3-0, at Pucillo Field.
Shippensburg (0-5-1, 0-3-1 PSAC East) mustered seven shots, including two on goal, and earned seven corner kicks in the loss. Redshirt-sophomore
Kirstin Brown was credited with four saves in the Raider goal.
Millersville (3-2-1, 2-2-1) jumped out to a 2-0 lead inside the first nine minutes, getting tallies from Aubrey Strohecker and Isabel Coy. Coy increased her individual goal total to five on the season.
The scored remained 2-0 until the 86th minute, when the Marauders notched a third courtesy of Aalivia Wainwright.
