The Shippensburg University lacrosse team dropped a non-conference match at Wilmington (Del.) on Saturday, 16-3, on a rainy afternoon in Delaware.

Wilmington (5-1) led 10-0 at the end of the first quarter and 13-0 at halftime and never looked back. The Wildcats got five goals from Mackenzie Stritzinger, four from Ella Royer and three from Amelie Gamache. Alea Javorowsky had a goal and seven assists. Gamache also had game highs of six groundballs and four caused turnovers.
