The Shippensburg University men's basketball team held a halftime lead at Lock Haven on Sunday but was bested in the second half by the Bald Eagles, dropping an 89-64 decision to the hosts in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division affair at Thomas Fieldhouse.
Shippensburg (8-19, 4-17 PSAC) limited Lock Haven (18-7, 16-4) to 30 first-half points and trailed by only four points, 58-54, with 11:24 to play. The Bald Eagles erupted for 31 more points down the stretch, pulling away with an 18-3 run that began at the 8:57 mark.

Markus Frank was the only Raider to finish in double figures, totaling 12 points in 22 minutes on 5-of-12 shooting. Senior
Ty Holsopple earned another start and poured in nine points, four rebounds and three assists.
Sophomore
Trey Martin and redshirt-junior
Ty Crespo each scored eight points, and junior
Michael Dunn was 2-of-3 from three-point range. Sophomore
Donovan Hill had a team-high 12 rebounds.
Lock Haven out-scored the Raiders in the paint 56-28 and had 22 second-chance points to Shippensburg's two. The Bald Eagles also scored 20 points off 15 Raider turnovers while committing just seven turnovers of their own. Dyson Harward was excellent, as his 14-point, 14-rebound double-double also featured seven assists. Harward was 6-of-8 from the field and blocked three shots.
Justice Shoats led all scorers with 22 points. Shoats added seven rebounds and three assists. Five Bald Eagles finished in double figures, as Isaiah Stewart, Jalen Gorham and Collin Jones all scored 13 points.
Shippensburg finishes up its season at 8 p.m. Wednesday when it hosts Shepherd at Heiges Field House.
