Biography
2024-25 (Junior): Solidified himself as a starter and steady presence in the SU backcourt…one of two Raiders to start all 29 games…led the team in three-point makes, shooting treys at a 33.8 percent clip…ranked fourth on the team in scoring at 10.8 points per contest…second on the team in assists (2.1 per game)…fourth on the team in steals (23)…scored 20-or-more points on four occasions…reached double figures in scoring 14 times…dished out a season-high five assists three times…poured in a season-high 24 points on 9-of-18 from the field and 6-of-11 from three in a win over Mansfield (Jan. 11)…went a season-best 6-of-9 from three on his way to 22 points against Wilmington (Del.) (Nov. 13)…scored 20 points and registered a season-high three steals in SU’s upset win over nationally-ranked West Chester (Feb. 12)…drained at least one three-pointer in 19 contests…was selected to the 2024-25 Division II Academic All-District ® Team.
2023-24 (Sophomore): Emerged as an important member of the Raiders backcourt rotation during his second season…appeared in all 28 contests…started in 12 of the last 15 games of the season…averaged 6.1 points…shot 34.4 percent (21-of-61) from beyond the arc and 88.2 percent (15-of-17) from the foul line…reached double figures in scoring in seven contests…went 7-of-11 (63.6%) from the field in a 15-point effort at Pitt-Johnstown (Jan. 3)…went a season-best 4-of-7 from beyond the arc in back-to-back outings against Cheney (Jan. 31) and Bloomsburg (Feb. 3)…scored a season-high 16 points and dished out a season-best three assists in the win over the Huskies…registered 13 points and matched his season high with 32 minutes at Mansfield (Feb. 14)…was named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) 2023-24 Division II Academic All-District® Team.
2022-23 (Freshman): Saw action in 19 games…totaled 36 points, 11 assists and six steals…drained 3-of-7 from beyond the arc on his way to a season-high nine points against Jan. 21…registered six points and two steals against California (Pa.)…dished out multiple assists four times.
Linganore High School: Totaled four varsity letters for the Lancers under head coach Tim Abercrombie…competed at the club level with Global Squad for coach John Alexander…named the Frederick County Player of the Year as a senior…selected to the Maryland All-State Second Team as a senior…earned All-Conference First Team honors…set single-season school records as a senior with 501 points, 73 three-pointers and averaging 24 points per game…graduated with career school records of 124 three-pointers and a free-throw percentage of 82 percent…also earned three varsity letters in football and one in track & field…received All-State honorable mention as a football defensive back…was a silver medalist in the high jump at the Maryland State Championships and won a regional championship in the high jump…was a member of the National Honor Society.
About Conner: Full name is Timmy Conner…is the son of Rick and Liz Conner…majoring in finance with a personal financial planning concentration...has two brothers, Clay '18 and Ricky…brother Clay '18 played at Shippensburg from 2014-18, totaling 611 points and 285 assists, and is now the director of player development for Penn State Men's Basketball.
