SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University volleyball team will host East Stroudsburg at 7 p.m. Tuesday in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Quarterfinal at Heiges Field House.
 
Shippensburg (17-12), the Eastern Division No. 2 seed, will be facing East Stroudsburg (19-7), the Eastern Division No. 3 seed, for the third time this season. The Raiders won both regular-season matchups – in four sets at ESU and in three sets at Heiges Field House.
 
The last PSAC Tournament matchup between the two teams was two years ago and occurred under similar circumstances (SU was the No. 2 seed, ESU the No. 3 seed). In that meeting, ESU swept the Raiders at Heiges Field House (25-18, 25-27, 25-21).
 
The winner of Tuesday's quarterfinal will advance to a Friday night semifinal against the winner of Western Division No. 1 seed Gannon vs. Western Division No. 4 seed Seton Hill.
 
The highest remaining Western Division seed will host the PSAC Semifinals and PSAC Championship match.
 
Shippensburg is in the PSAC Tournament for the 17th time in 20 seasons under head coach Leanne Piscotty.
