SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University women's soccer team dropped a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern division match against Mansfield, 2-1, on a rainy Saturday afternoon at David See Field.
Shippensburg (1-6-0, 1-4-0 PSAC East) struck first early in the match, coming off a free kick junior
Chloe Chipego. Chipego's kick bounced to junior
Olivia Stephen, who sent the ball over goalie Faith Cameron into the center of the net for the tally in the sixth minute.
Mansfield (3-4-0, 2-3-0) responded in the second half, scoring two goals in a span of three minutes. Taylar Luckenbill scored both goals, with the first coming off a corner kick that bounced to her feet, which she sent to the center of the net to tie the game.
Luckenbill's second goal came off of a free kick on the left side of the field, where she sent the ball into the high center of the net for the go-ahead goal of the match. The Mountaineers would hold off the Raiders for the final 15 minutes to pick up the win.
Both teams recorded five shots on goal. Mansfield had five corner kicks to Shippensburg's four.

Kendra Barlow made two saves in the first half and junior
Morgan Molyneaux made one save in the second half.
The Raiders will host Millersville at 4 p.m. Wednesday.
