The Shippensburg University lacrosse team fell at Limestone, 17-6, Tuesday afternoon in Gaffney, South Carolina.
Limestone (5-2) gained an early 3-0 lead in the first quarter. Shippensburg (1-2) answered with goals from freshman
Keegan Dings and sophomore
Sara Vosburg within the first five minutes of the second quarter. Freshman
Alyssa Krueger also scored right before half.
The Raiders could not hang on, as the Saints scored five in a row to extend their lead into halftime.
Shippensburg was able to get themselves back on the board with another goal from Vosburg halfway through the third quarter.

Jill Hopkins was one of two Raiders to find the back of the net in the fourth quarter, scoring her first of the season. Graduate
Addie Kalama scored the last Raider goal with four minutes left in the contest.
Vosburg led SU in goals, points and draw controls with two.

Limestone was led by Sarah Dudick who scored five goals and had seven draw controls.
