The Shippensburg University men's soccer team posted its second straight shutout to start the 2022 season, winning 2-0 on the road over the Jefferson Rams.

Chase Estes opened the scoring in the 59th minute, putting a pass from sophomore
Omario Duncan behind the Rams goalkeeper for his first collegiate goal.
Later in the second half, junior
Seth Crabbe capped off an excellent opening week by potting his fourth goal of the season, with the help of senior
Harry Kershaw.
Sophomore
Cody Willoughby stood tall on all four shots he faced to complete his second shutout of the season.
SU finished with an 8-4 advantage in shots on goal and a 6-3 disadvantage in corners.
This is the first time the Raiders have started a season with back-to-back shutouts since 2016.
Shippensburg returns to David See Field at 4 p.m. Wednesday as they begin conference play against West Chester.
