SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. -- The Shippensburg University women's soccer team held East Stroudsburg scoreless on a sunny Saturday afternoon with a 1-0 victory at David See Field. 
 
Shippensburg (1-3-2, 1-2-2 PSAC East) snapped a seven-match losing streak to East Stroudsburg (5-1-1, 3-1-1), picking up its first win over the Warriors since Sept. 5, 2015. It's the first time that the Raiders have shutout ESU in nine years. 
 
SU took the lead at the 63:02 mark when senior Lauren Ocker headed the ball into the back of the net tallying her first goal of the season. 
 
Ocker's goal came off a free kick at the top of the box from sophomore Olivia Stephen.
 
ESU came close to tying the game minutes later off a shot from Natalie Schooley, but sophomore goalkeeper Morgan Molyneaux came up with a terrific save.
 
Molyneaux was credited with six saves in the contest. SU had three shots on goal, while ESU had six. 
 
The Raiders return to action on at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Lock Haven.
