The Shippensburg University field hockey team rallied back from one goal down to claim victory on Saturday, defeating Belmont Abbey in a 1v1 penalty shootout in a 2-1 victory in a neutral-site match at Limestone's Saints Field.
Shippensburg (5-0) tied the game with less than 90 seconds left in the second quarter from a penalty corner shot by sophomore
Tess Jedeloo that was assisted by senior

Sophomore goalkeeper
Emma Albee, in her second game this year, was the saviour for the Raiders in the penalty shootout. The Raiders scored first off sophomore
Valu Paul and the Crusaders missed their first attempt. Fellow sophomores
Emilia Conners and Jedeloo also made their attempts, while the Crusaders made one and missed one. With a 3-1 lead, the Raiders had to make the attempt to take the victory, which sophomore
Ashley Button did.
The Raiders had 19-10 shots-on-goal advantage over Belmont Abbey and had an 11-10 penalty corners advantage. Sophomore goalkeeper
Lindsay Tripodo had a season high of eight saves, while Belmont Abbey's goalkeeper Chloe Parker had 14 saves.
