SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University football team concluded its 2022 spring non-championship season with its annual Red-White Game at Student Association Field at Seth Grove Stadium. The intrasquad scrimmage featured an officiating crew and a lively atmosphere with the presence of the SU Marching Band.
 
Among the notable scoring plays included a long touchdown run by Nasai Moon and a pair of touchdowns by Jake DeLuccia. Jaxson Montross kicked a long field goal at the buzzer to give the White Team (first-team offense, second-team defense) an 18-15 win over the Red Team (first-team defense, second-team offense).
 
Saturday marked the 15th and final practice of the team's spring season. Preseason camp begins in August.
 
Shippensburg will open the 2022 season on September 3 at West Virginia State.
