The Shippensburg University lacrosse team had an impressive road effort at Kutztown on Saturday, defeating the Golden Bears by a score of 14-7 in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division matchup at Keystone Field.

Shippensburg (4-11, 2-8 PSAC East) got four goals each from graduate
Alana Cardaci and senior
Hannah Seifried as the Raiders built a 7-4 lead at halftime and kept Kutztown (4-11, 1-9) to only two goals or less per quarter.

Cardaci scored four goals, had two caused turnovers and three draw controls. Seifried also had an assist in addition to finding the back of the net four times. She also had two caused turnovers, three draw controls and picked up two groundballs. Â

Sophomore
Bailey Krahl scored her third hat trick of the season and the fourth in her career, along with an assist. Freshman
Sara Vosburg finished with three points (two goals and an assist) along with a caused turnover and a draw control. Fellow freshman
Jamie Carvin scored the first goal for the Raiders while adding an assist and picking up two groundballs.

Jena MacDonald had three assists and is one away from recording her 100th career assist. Fellow senior
Gabby Savarino had three draw controls, a caused turnover and picked up two groundballs. Senior
Sydney Costanza had one assist.

KiKi Brasher started in goal for the Raiders and had a season high of seven saves. Freshman
Kayla Vosburg recorded 10 saves, and surpassed 100 saves for the season.

Shippensburg will conclude its home schedule Wednesday when it hosts nationally-ranked East Stroudsburg at 4 p.m. at Robb Sports Complex.
