Morgan Brumbaugh.
In the sixth inning, the top of the batting lineup came through. Sophomore
Taylor Myers drew a walk and advanced to second base on a passed ball. DeFeo hit an RBI-triple for a 7-0 lead, and an RBI for freshman
Katelyn Minney on an error by the second basemen plated DeFeo and led to the run-rule victory.
Ball, the reigning PSAC East Pitcher of the Week, threw a complete game, her sixth-in-a-row (all wins) and her eighth overall this season. It was her second shutout of the season. She took no-hitter into the fifth inning and allowed just two singles and a walk while recording eight strikeouts.
Game 2: Shippensburg 6, Bowie State 0
