ORLANDO, Fla. – The Shippensburg University women's tennis team began its Florida trip on Sunday with a loss in its opening match at Spring Break Sports, dropping a 7-0 decision to Otterbein.
 
Shippensburg (0-3) got a strong start at No. 1 singles from senior Jenna Sluymer, who tied the first set at 2-2 but eventually had her serve broken. Sluymer won four games in her match at No. 1 singles, and junior Sahar Islam claimed three games at No. 4 singles.
 
The Raiders will be back in action at 8 a.m. tomorrow against Seton Hill at the Oak Street Sports Complex in Orlando.
