SU scored 16 points off turnovers, 16 points in the paint, and 10 second-chance points in the first half.

In the third quarter, Fayetteville rallied back and outscored Shippensburg 20-16 and shot 44.4 percent, their best shooting quarter of the night. In the last 10 minutes of the game, the Raiders had a 14-4 scoring advantage in the paint and only had two turnovers.

Jones finished with seven rebounds, a block, two steals, an assist and drew six fouls. Miller was one point and rebound shy of her first double-double with nine points and nine rebounds to go along with two steals, two assists and eight fouls drawn. Pettis led the team with a team-high three blocks and added eight rebounds, seven points and an assist.

Junior Treasure George totaled nine points, three rebounds and an assist. Sophomore Taja Colbert led the team with a team-high three assists, and added five points, a steal and two rebounds.
