SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University men's soccer team fell in a close 3-2 decision against Bloomsburg on Wednesday night in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division matchup at David See Field.
Shippensburg (4-7-4, 0-7-4 PSAC East) saw itself trailing early when Bloomsburg (13-3-1, 8-2-1) midfielder Teagan Wallace found the back of the net 1:22 into the contest.
The Huskies continued to pressure the Raiders, extending their lead to two, thanks to a goal from Shay Gillen in the sixth minute.

Ashton Davies tied the game in the 57th minute on a penalty kick that was awarded when Bloomsburg was called for a handball in the box.
The Huskies' Sammy Ames scored the game-winner in the 71st minute to propel BU to the win, clinching the top seed in the Eastern Division in the process.
Both sides were held to just five shots on goal in the contest.
Shippensburg concludes its season at East Stroudsburg for a 7 p.m. match at Eiler-Martin Stadium.
