SHEPHERDSTOWN, Pa. – The Shippensburg volleyball team was unable to find rhythm against Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division opponent Shepherd on Friday night, falling in straight sets to the Rams. Set scores were 22-25, 24-26, 21-25.

Shippensburg (12-11, 4-4 PSAC East) was led by senior
Rachel Verhoef with 10 kills, followed by nine kills and five blocks by senior
Oyinda Agbale.

Freshman
Kearstin Davis had 30 assists and three kills, while freshman
Erica Lampus had 12 digs and an ace. Sophomore
Maddie Clabaugh tied her career-high three blocks and added seven kills.

Shepherd (14-6, 6-2) had a hitting percentage of .225 and was led by Mikayla Hoy with 16 kills. The Raiders had a 5-2 ace advantage, but it was the Rams 20 blocks that gave them the advantage.

Shippensburg are on the road for four straight conference games, starting with Kutztown on Friday at 7 p.m.
