SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University men's soccer team took down California (Pa.), 2-1, in a non-conference matchup on Wednesday night at David See Field.

Harry Kershaw within only seven minutes of play. California (Pa.) (3-7-1) tied the game less than 90 seconds after the first goal by the Raiders.
In the second half the Vulcans were unfortunate and scored an own goal from a cross by sophomore
Omario Duncan in the middle of the box, to take a 2-1 lead.
Both teams were even with shots on goal (6-6), with the Vulcans having a 54-46 % possession advantage on the field. Freshman
Matt Riley recorded five saves, a career high, and his second win of the season.
Shippensburg will travel to Shepherd on Saturday for a 3:30 p.m. conference matchup.
Note: The Raiders finished the non-conference season undefeated (4-0).
