The Shippensburg University women's tennis team came up short against West Chester on Tuesday, dropping a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division match to the Golden Rams by a 7-0 score at South Campus.
 
Jenna Sluymer won 10 games at No. 2 singles, falling 5-7, 5-7 to Davica Massaro.
 
Freshman Skylar Walder won three games at No. 1 singles, and freshman Brighid Cantwell won three games at No. 3 singles.
 
Walder and Sluymer won two games at No. 1 doubles, while Cantwell and Kayla Tryanski won two games at No. 2 doubles.
 
SCHEDULE CHANGE: Shippensburg's scheduled Friday match against Bloomsburg will now take place at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Robb Sports Complex. It is projected to be the lone home match of the season for the Raiders, and they will honor senior Hannah Wieller before the match.
